Mr. Thorne [called out the man's name]. His cheerful voice gave little indication that he was aware that the male occupant of the buggy had a pistol trained upon him. "Put that away. It's me."

Thank you for visiting. Come back every Saturday for more samples. Now, use this list to go to other blogs for more Sweet Saturday Samples. I know the authors enjoy comments as much as I do, so don't be shy.
Makes me wonder what kind of adventure?
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting and for your comment, Patricia. Whatever kind of adventure it is, it's bound to be intriguing.
DeleteI love the idea of auctioning off character names for charity. The winners must be thrilled!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to learning more about these characters.
This was fun. I've actually offered to use a person's name for a character in an auction previously, when I was writing Trail of Storms. The money benefited a Boy Scout troop.
DeleteHmm... I wonder what kind of adventure they're having. And I'm curious to know the characters' names!
ReplyDeleteMirriam, it's a decidedly dangerous adventure! Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteGreat teasing scene here
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lindsay! Sometimes, less is more.
