From her home in the forest, writer Marsha Ward offers up an eclectic collage of musings on life, insights into the writing process, sample scenes and snippets from her work, book spotlights, and author interviews. Now including "The Characters in Marsha's Head."
I can so relate! I'll open a window to do a search, then get distracted by a billion other options or fun diversions, and totally forget what I got on the computer to do in the first place. Not sure if it's ADD for me, more likely I'm just a space cadet. I do however have Tourette's Syndrome, which affects almost every minute of my daily life. Except in rare cases, TS isn't the cause of explosive swearing that the media plays it up to be--but can I still use that as an excuse to yell? ;)
I think I have even blogged about this very subject. I try to use my ADHD (undiagnosed) to my benefit by flitting from project to project. I have a list at my desk each day to help me make sure I at least accomplish something from start to finish. The bonus is that I get a lot done in a day, except when I get too distracted to get anything done.
