Nice cover!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Oscar. I really like it.
DeleteIs this book a fiction novel or a cookbook? I can't tell from the description.
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy! The cookbook contains real recipes. The part I have fictionalized is the concept that one of my characters collected them. That part is fiction. The introductions to the recipes are fiction. There is a scene after one recipe that is fiction. The recipes, or "receipts," as they were called in the olden days, are real and authentic and historical. Some are curiosities and probably would take a fair amount of experimentation to get right. Most of them, however, have been modified so you can make them with little trouble.
DeleteThanks for coming over and for commenting.
Yay! Beautiful cover! So excited for you.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of your characters having this privilege.
