I've had company for the last month, and while it was wonderful to have my relative here, I didn't do much work on my novel. I did manage to send it to my publishing committee editors, but it still needs final work before it's ready.
There are also other tasks around here that need to be finished: books to return to authors from my failed store, editing a friend's novel, and the ubiquitous laundry. Maybe a dish or two to wash. A pile of newspapers to go through. A box of papers and odds and ends to sort. My check register to reconcile.
Time to quit playing on the Internet--no, that's not right--I work on the Internet. Time to get off the computer and finish the tasks that are pending. Hmmm, I write on the computer. Oh well, back to work!
First off, I hate the words Back to Work almost as much as I hate the words, It's time to clean up.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I would love to show you how to put pictures in your blog--but you know me, Marsha, I have absolutely no idea how to do it. I'm making DD do it for me. I can email her and tell her you'd like instructions though. She tells me it's easy, but of course I don't believe her.
